INSTALLING

  • Lighting - When it is time for your electrician to start pulling wires and installing boxes know the following:

    • Locations

    • Furniture Sizes (example dining table chandelier height)

    • Fixture Dimensions

    • If Art or Mirrors will be on the wall, that can effect how you space you wall sconces.

  • HVAC

  • AV

  • Plumbing

  • Floors (know heights of tile, rugs and wood) to make sure they finish at same heights

  • Cabinets

    • Drop off at site to allow to settle for a few days

    • Templating of counter tops. This is a sneaky on too that can hold up things, so it is awesome if you can schedule this in advance. Don’t assume once your cabinets are in that they can come right away to template, this takes time.

    • Backsplash install

    • Counter Install

    • Appliance Install (plan on delivery in advance)

    • Under Cabinet Lighting

    • Hardware Install

  • Tile (this can also start prior to cabinet install)

    • Have Grout Selected and Onsite

      • Know if you want unsanded, sanded

      • Will you be using caulking

    • Have all Curbs fabricated in advance. This is a big one that can hold up the project. Get the stone fabricator on site as soon as the contractor sees fit

    • Tile Pattern/Layout

    • Have all bullnose

    • Liners around niches

    • Sealers

  • Shower Door & Mirror

  • Paint

  • Lighting Install

  • Final Coat on Floors

  • Wallpaper

  • Last Lighting

  • Rug Install

  • Window Treatment Installation

  • Furniture Install

  • Art Install

  • Accessory Install
